The site of the_xaotician's (unfinished) 2006 NaNoWriMo novel. If you are offended by anything swearing, chubby lady mages smoking their spell components, shameless demon boys, or elves with handguns grenade launchers, you may as well cut your losses and hit the back button. There are other things that you might be put off by, but I can't say exactly what they are without ruining surprises. >:)

All icons were made with my own art; don't steal them, or you'll go blind and hair will grow on your palms. Same goes for the main page background, not that any sane individual would want it.


Working Title: Electric Necromancy

Genre: Urban fantasy. With zombies.

Synopsis: Meiru Laquestine is nearing the end of her fifteenth year at the Sorad'fein Academy of Sorcery--which wouldn't be all that noteworthy if it wasn't a twelve year program. Bright but lazy, hedonistic, and a grandmaster of procrastination, she has slogged through the curriculum at a dead crawl (and being suspended for half a year for summoning a demon didn't help matters much). Her final project for the year is unusual: To escort a knight of the Radiant Order across the continent to Kolthu, along with a very strange cargo indeed.

It's only when a prophetess dives off a skyscraper (and she finds herself trying to fulfill her final prophecy on the way) that Meiru starts wondering if she should be getting extra credit for the whole mess.


Setting: Veruthis, circa Afterflight 2153 (as a point of reference, Pan and the Demon took place around Afterflight 940)
